Apperant is to seem real, it doesn't entail things to be real only appear to be real. A stick in the water appears to broken, the sun appears to be close. Both are not what they appear to be.
Chaotic dynamical systems exhibit "apparent randomness" yet are fully deterministic. The Newtonian physics problem of rolling dice is a good example: small changes in initial conditions which are not observed or controlled lead to very different final results.
Free will requires understanding the cause of the choice as oneself, therefore randomness (as a lack of understanding) is evidence of a lack of free will.
Randomness still follows strict rules. A perfectly random system isn't free.
