Should churches pay tax?
Churches with a corporate, income oriented, status will make the culture of religion more consumerist.
In order to combat rising costs and lower attendance, church leaders will be
to provide entertainment over substance oriented content in their sermons that will appeal to larger audiences.
Consumerist religious culture will also mean that struggling faiths will be pressured into greater tolerance of groups that have traditionally been ignored by religious culture (i.e. LGBTQIA individuals) due to the need for more congregants.
