What is the best way to fight overpopulation?
Countries should provide free birth control.
This would make birth control accessible to everyone.
Make birth control a health issue as well as abortion a choice for the genitors.
This would not only promote the health and safety of our women, especially the women in our workforce, but it would also limit unwanted children, partially fixing overpopulation and making it less likely for children to be hurt and/or killed because they were unwanted or unplanned.
Birth control at about $30 a month is much less expensive that a single birth at $10,000 or the cost of raising a child. Thus it costs less and ensures that those that have children actually want them.
This will cost a lot of money which could be used in a more effective way.
This might lead to underpopulation.
Birth control is already free in the form of abstinence and wire coat hangers.
Theres no such thing as free birth control.
