Cultural appropriation is wrong
Cultural appropriation is not committed with the intent to disrespect people of a certain culture. Actions done with no ill-will are not wrong to commit.
It is only disrespectful if it is meant disrespectfully. To automatically assume that any "cultural appropriation" is disrespectful is to assume that you know the intent of the person/act in question.
Cultural appropriation, with intent or without intent, is a type of microaggression.
By this logic drunk driving (or other negative behavior) is not wrong to commit unless done with ill-will.
On the contrary, a number of civil and criminal offenses are listed as "strict liability" offenses, meaning that no specific mental state is required (such as malice or ill-will).
