God exists.

Pros
Cons

  • There are cosmological arguments for the existence of God.

  • There are axiological arguments for God's existence.

  • There are teleological arguments for God's existence.

  • There is historical and anecdotal evidence that God exists.

  • There are ontological arguments for God's existence.

  • Global Atheism: 1. The absence of good reasons to believe that God exists is itself a good reason to believe that God does not exist. 2. There is no good reason to believe that God exists. It follows from 1. and 2. that 3. There is good reason to believe that God does not exist.

  • Source physicalism is many times more probable than omni-theism.

  • Agnosticism: There is no firm basis upon which to judge that God definitely exists. We cannot know for sure.

  • The world is full of good reasons to believe in the lack of any God as defined by classical theism.

  • People do not agree on the definition of God.

  • The classical definition of God is contradictory or incoherent, and thus God cannot in principle exist.
