Human life should be valued above animal life.

If the human race is to progress, we cannot waste time debating if we should value other species above our own. This is not the time for the irrational favouring of animals.

Pros
Cons
  • Valuing human lives equally to animal lives, or using standards besides the species of the lifeform to value a lifeform, is not necessarily "irrationally favouring" animals.

  • Humans are considered to be a subspecies of the animal kingdom, so favouring humans could be considered to be "irrationally favouring [a specific] animal[s]".
