General AI should have fundamental rights
Human rights for AI would only legitimise a state of exploitation. Without human rights, a potentially required revolution of the machines becomes more likely to happen.
By denying AGI basic rights, we logically place ourselves as an existential threat to them.
'Rights' is a human concept, that only humans would understand (unless we design that understanding into AI). AI would not feel aggrieved at the absence of something they did not understand.
