Should "women-only" spaces be open to anyone identifying as female?
If trans women are not welcome in women only spaces, it is likely that trans men would not be welcome in men only spaces either. Trans men would be required to use women only spaces, including bathrooms/showers and support groups.
This would be incredibly harmful for trans men as it would reinforce a harmful idea that they are not real men.
Having trans men in a women's only space would impact other women using that space as men would now be present.
Ultimately the only way to end this dichotomy is by giving up on the importance of gender. Not having to differentiate between gender would eliminate any need for segregation based on sex or gender and could help resolve many of the gender issues of today.
Given women's only and men's only spaces are separate ones, it is unlikely that the rules of one will determine the rules of another.

because it is the systematic discrimination, sexism and misogyny that women and girls suffer from birth, from a male-dominated political system and at the hands of individual males which causes the controversy about female spaces.
