Would Abolishing Privacy Be Beneficial?
Immoral and selfish actions could become normalised, in which case they might actually increase.
At present immoral actions such as cheating or drug use are shocking because they are rarely made public. Once they can no longer be hidden they will be normalised and seen as less important.
On the other hand, reducing the stigma surrounding drug use and similar acts would be important in de-pathologising them in the popular consciousness and facilitating a more humane approach to drug policy and addiction that would better help the victims of drugs.
