DNA from a 17-year old female accuser (Adaira Gardner) was located on the inside fly of Daniel Holtzclaw's police uniform pants. Proving Holtzclaw is indeed guilty of raping her.
The DNA was shown to only be skin cells and the defense argued cold have easily been a matter of touch or transfer DNA.
Male DNA was also found on the inside fly of Holtzclaw's police uniform pants in the same area where accuser Adaira Gardner's DNA was found. This fact was not disclosed at trial to the jury by the prosecution's police lab forensic analyst Elaine Taylor. This would seem to backup the defense's claim all the DNA was simply touch/transfer DNA. KOKH Fox25 News Report regarding male DNA.
