Should all religions be banned on a global scale?
It is impossible and therefore useless to try.
Religion is one of the primary proponents to a worldview. It is utterly impossible to ban all religions, as you would have to erase everyone's thought process, based on their worldview.
The line distinguishing what is and is not an organized religion is can be blurry and difficult to establish.
This would just push religion underground.
It is generally a bad idea to ban beliefs. There would be no practical way to do it without privileging or prejudicing beliefs based on the power of whoever is making the judgements as to what qualifies as a religion.
The likelyhood of impossibility does not necessarily mean it is useless to try. Anything worth having or gaining is worth trying for, even if you're unsuccessful. Better to try than do nothing.
