Is Opposite Sex Parenting Preferable to Same-Sex Parenting?
Men and women have different parenting styles (men tend to be more physical, whilst women more emotionally inclined). Having only one is missing out on the other.

If we judge the potential parenting style of people, then we would also have to disallow people in general who would be bad parents, be they same-sex or not. And then we should do it on an individual basis, rather than disallowing a whole group from being parents.
These tendencies are little more than generalizations. There's no reason same sex couples wouldn't be able to provide this developmental balance to their children.
The assumption different parenting styles are connected to the biological sex is unsupported. The way parents treat their children is not determined by their sex or gender.
