Should vegan/vegetarian parents feed their kids the same diet?
No person should be forced to do something.
Forcing an ideology creates a resentment to that ideology and the one forcing it upon you.
Children are forced to be educated and forced to put clothes on, and when very young are forced to eat food, for example. Clearly in some cases it's OK to force children to do things. The question is whether 'not eat meat' is ever one such thing.
Children are forced to adopt the parent's dietary preference anyway - just usually a carnist one.
Children are forced into any diet. Children are also forced to go to the doctor, take a bath, etc. Therefore, it is absurd that a child would have sovereignty in this domain.
Feeding your kids a vegan/vegetarian diet is not forcing. It's the exact same thing as feeding any other diet. If you think it is forcing, then you need to claim that feeding them an omnivorous diet is also forcing them.
We shouldn’t force animals to be bred, put in a cage and killed either. If we don't force kids to go vegan, we are using force on the animals.
