Should vegan/vegetarian parents feed their kids the same diet?
Parents attempting to ethically raise their children would be hypocritical to let their kids consume animal products.
Being vegan or vegetarian means you have to do everything you can to spread the message.
Parents don't allow their kids to do other things that they think is immoral, like hitting other kids or destroying windows.
The moral high ground of vegan(ism) isn't self evident! There is no hypocrisy in respecting a different belief system within the same family!
Their beliefs shouldn't dictate the choices they make in their children's lives, which will end up having a huge impact on them as people. Veganism is no religion, it's a personal preference and it should be kept that way.
It could be considered equally or even more ethical to give children the freedom to decide for themselves how they want to live and what they want to eat..
A parent may treat the child differently if the child has different needs which require animal products.
