Politicians' Second Jobs: Should They be Allowed to Keep Them?
Politicians should not take limited job opportunities that would have otherwise been available to other people in need of work.
A Delaware state Representative was given a
second job as a receptionist in the City Council office
to supplement her income, which could have been offered to someone looking to start their career.
If a politician secures a job ahead of other candidates, it is likely because they are able to do that job well.
Politicians, are entitled to pursue their career and work interests in the same manner as the rest of the workforce.
