Should Bullfighting be Banned?
Prohibiting bullfighting can lead some to defend their rights, leading to public unrest.
Campaigns against bullfighting already target individuals, such as
Unfair to the slaughtered animals: *they* do not get a chance to rebel, protest, defend or fight for *their* rights. Their voice, opinion or needs are disregarded.
Differences of opinions, contestations and confrontations are normal (and healthy) part of social interaction
(very much like we are doing by using this Kialo site). Reason why, when they get out of hand, an authority is supposed to be there to support, and keep the peace.
Individual transgressions cannot be a good guide for state policy because they are isolated instances.
