The UK has more bargaining power as a member of an EU collective than it does individually against significantly larger economies like the US or China.
The UK would have the opportunity to join/form groups such as
which would mean that it would continue to hold great influence across the world.
The UK weighed significantly on the international scene prior to the establishment of the EU. There is no reason to believe it won't in a post-Brexit environment.
The UK shouldn't be part of the EU throwing around its weight on the international stage since the EU constantly meddles in the affairs of other countries.
