People choose to work many hours to maintain a high quality of life.
A shortening of the working week would result in further shortage of workers in skilled jobs (eg medics).
It would be too costly for companies.
There is no evidence that productivity has increase by enough to justify a reduction in hours worked to 15. Until that happens it would only cause hyperinflation & recession.
