Is Adultery Ethical?
The rule not to commit adultery is one of the Ten Commandments.
Fewer people in the world follow the ten commandments than don't. Approx
30% of the population are Christian
approximately 15,000,000 Jews
, this would suggest that only one third of the worlds population cares about the ten commandments.
The Ten Commandments are virtually worthless even to Christian people. God forgives those who seek absolution, you can commit adultery and as long as you ask for forgiveness all is forgiven.
This is only relevant if you are religious.
Not everyone is a Christian, much less a practicing one.
The Ten Commandments are not necessarily applicable to all situations in modern-day life.
