Should Esperanto be adopted internationally?
There are not many people speaking Esperanto. It is estimated that the number is between
100.000 and 8 million
However, Esperanto could be taught internationally, as a new official language, and the amount of speakers would dramatically increase if appropriate societal enthusiasm is shown. All artificial languages will start small.
It would take 10 times more to teach English on a basic level (or even more with other languages) to the same amount of people.
