Should voters in the UK have a final vote on the Brexit deal?
There may not be sufficient time to get a post-legislative referendum in place before the proposed exit in March 2019.
Electoral office state they would need a minimum of 24 weeks to complete the process of holding a second referendum but we leave European Union well before then.
None of the proposed solutions, especially concerning the Northern Ireland border, were accepted by the EU. So the UK would be asked for views on proposals that would not be accepted anyway.
The EU have agreed to an extension under the condition of a significant change in the proposal.
