Should begging for money be illegal?
Unless behavior is threatening or disruptive, the bar for what is made illegal should be very high. It sets a precedent that minor inconveniences can/should be banned.
Begging, when not aggressive, doesn't pose harm to other members of society.
It is nobody’s business what people decide to do with their money or how other people get their money.
A government which is allowed to have unlimited authority results in a society which lacks freedom and recognizes few if any rights.
Begging is defined as the act of asking for charity and thus classifying this it as illegal would be violating free speech laws.
