Elections are not nullified by a misleading campaign. Part of a campaign is manufacturing promises which may or may not be realisable. The elector must decide which party makes the most compelling argument and is responsible of their choice
The Remain campaign also made claims that turned out to be untrue or undeliverable.
By this standard, each and every election and referendum would be invalid as lies and falsehoods are an inevitable part of politics.
