Is Vigilantism Ever Permissible?
Vigilantism can free up public funds for other purposes than law enforcement.
They can be privately funded and not cost the country any money, similar to how
Vigilantes can focus on smaller, petty crimes, allowing law enforcement to invest their time and resources into more important and pressing issues.
The government should not stop spending on the police just because vigilantes exist.
In reality vigilantism would have very little impact on public funds.
Law enforcement might end up spending the same amounts cleaning up mistakes made by some vigilantes.
