Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union?
With the biggest opponent of further integration gone, the EU would have a much easier way to bring its member states together under the same umbrella.
It would be easier to harmonize policy making in the EU since, instead of the current three, only two major actors - Germany and France - would remain.
The UK has a track record of objecting to pushs for deeper military integration.
The UK is not the only country with mixed feelings about further integration. To exclude the UK from the EU on that basis would necessarily mean to exclude other EU countries from the EU.
