Humans restrict the freedom and autonomy of trillions of living organisms for their entire lives and many generations, including humans.
Due to their apex position, humans manage and maintain, as well as destroy. The unintended consequences of removing the most advanced species on Earth must be considered.
Humans are the most evolved species that have ever been on Earth, and humanity is still socially and technologically evolving. Removing humanity from existence would remove this advancement.
The world is the only chance where humans could overcome their destructive side and prove worthy to live in it. If you don't ever give this chance, you rob humas of their purpose.
Earth doesn't care whether humans exist, nor does the universe. The very notion of a 'better world' is a human notion.
It is only humans that can possibly spread Earths fragile life to other planets. All life on Earth will end eventually.
